The students that register in the Medical Assistant program will obtain 720 hours in the following areas:
· Anatomy
·
Physiology
·
Medical Terminology
·
Patient Care
·
CPR
·
EKG
·
Phlebotomy
The student must attend and successfully pass both modules in order to meet graduations requirements.
Following the completion of the Medical Assistant program, students are able to sit for the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). West Coast Ultrasound Institute is a NCCT Testing Center.
The six month medical assisting program has an optional three month externship.
Program Schedule
Monday 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM or
5:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Tuesday 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM or 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Wednesday 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM or 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Thursday 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM or 5:30 PM to 10:.30 PM
Medical Assisting Diploma
Phlebotomy Certificate
EKG Certificate
CPR American Red Cross Certification
