WCUI Phoenix Recognized at Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus & Student Veteran Month Recognition Event
Overview: This event gathered key stakeholders in post-secondary educational settings to recognize all new and existing Arizona Veteran Supportive Campuses who demonstrate unwavering support for our student veteran population by educational leadership throughout the state. West Coast Ultrasound Institute was proud to be one of the schools honored at this event.

Purpose: Recognize all Arizona Veteran Supportive Campuses and Highlight Governor’ Ducey’s proclamation of November 2016 as Arizona Student Veteran Month

Description of Event: The Arizona Veteran Supportive Campus certification is administered by ADVS and ensures that institutions of higher learning understand the unique needs of their military-affiliated students and are responsive to those needs. This event recognized all of the ADVS certified Veteran Supportive Campuses, including West Coast Ultrasound Institute (Phoenix Campus), and publicly thank them for better serving the student veterans of Arizona. Additionally, Governor Doug Ducey has proclaimed the month of November 2016 as Arizona Student Veteran Month, which honors all of Arizona’s student veterans and their heroic contributions to our nation. This event was held in Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza, home to many of Arizona’s military monuments. All schools including West Coast Ultrasound Institute received monetary gifts from both ADVS and ACMF as a thank you for their dedication to this important cause.
