The U.S. Department of Education has requested that all post-secondary institutions participating in Title IV federal student aid programs provide a Net Price Calculator available online. The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA) defines net price as “the net price for first-time, full-time degree or certificate-seeking students”. West Coast Ultrasound Institute (WCUI) is pleased to support the U.S. Department of Education in their request.
To obtain a net price assessment, you must complete the entire Net Price Calculator questionnaire on the following pages. Net price outputs include estimated tuition and fees, as well as broad approximations for variable items such as room and board, books and supplies, and assorted personal expenses like transportation and entertainment.
Actual cost to attend varies from student to student, and depends upon each student’s personal situation.
*For the most accurate information on the cost of training at WCUI, students and their families should speak with an official WCUI admissions representative.
INVESTING IN YOUR FUTURE
Estimated vs. Actual Cost of Education
Education is a long-term investment in one’s future. Before you continue, we’d like to make sure you have the information you need.
It’s no surprise that each student at WCUI is unique. Accordingly, each student’s total cost to attend WCUI is different. Campus location, program type, elective coursework, room and board, and personal lifestyle expenses all affect the final investment required.
That’s why, when evaluating net price estimates, you should keep in mind:
- Net price estimates do not account for many forms of financial aid that are available to students, such as private scholarships.
- Net price estimates do not account for each student’s personal lifestyle choices. Variable “other expenses,” such as clothing and entertainment, may be significantly reduced if a student carefully considers spending habits.
- Net price estimates are intended for use by first-time students and are based on full-time enrollment.
Have a question? Just ask. WCUI is committed to providing the highest quality of education. We work closely with students in any economic condition to make education an affordable, valuable investment toward a fulfilling and profitable career.
