BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMS

  • Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography - Available at All Campuses
  • This 36 month Bachelor's degree program in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography provides students with the technical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to become an entry-level sonographer trained in the use of ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound images. This program is designed to prepare the students to perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations under the direction of a physician. Graduates of this program can sit for relevant ARDMS registries upon graduation. Please refer to the "Registry Disclosure" for the ultrasound students for additional information.

  • Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Available at All Campuses
  • This 36 month Bachelor's degree program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS), provides students with the technical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to become an entry-level sonographer trained in the use of ultrasound equipment to obtain general diagnostic images. This program is designed to prepare students to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations via scanning techniques and protocols specific to the abdomen, pelvis, pregnancy/obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal anatomy. Graduates of this program can sit for relevant ARDMS registries upon graduation. Please refer to the "Registry Disclosure" for the ultrasound students for additional information.

  • ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAMS

    Academic Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Available at All Campuses
  • This 21* to 24* month Associates degree program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS), provides students the opportunity to learn and practice essential skills in the use of ultrasonic sound waves to generate diagnostic images used  for examining  normal anatomy and assessing various pathologies of the abdomen, breast, pregnancy/obstetric and vascular systems. Graduates of this program can sit for the ARRT registry exam upon graduation. Please refer to the "Registry Disclosure" for the ultrasound students for additional information.


  • Academic Associate of Science in Cardiovascular Sonography - Available at All Campuses
  • This 21* to 24* month Associates degree program in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography provides students with the ability learn and practice essential skills necessary to obtain diagnostic images of the heart and cardiovascular anatomy using high frequency ultrasonic sound waves. Diagnostic cardiac sonographers can also perform vascular examinations in clinical environments such as a hospital or imaging center. Graduates of this program can sit for the Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI) registry exam upon graduation.


  • Academic Associate of Science in Magnetic Resonance Imaging - Available at All Campuses
  • This 21 month Associates degree program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), provides students a technical education involving both classroom and hands-on clinical training using magnetic scanning equipment. MRI technologists operate MRI scanners and perform MRI optimization of images while tending to safety and patient care protocols. Graduates of this program can sit for the MRI exams through ARRT and ARMRIT registries upon graduation.

*The program length for the Academic Associates (Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Cardiovascular Sonography) Degree programs are 21 months for the California campuses and 24 months for the Arizona campus.
