PHOENIX, Arizona – On Saturday, April 11, West Coast Ultrasound Institute (WCUI) and Ultrasound Institute Medical Group (UIMG) joined forces to support the March of Dimes in their annual March for Babies event in downtown Phoenix.

Almost 30 members of the staff, faculty and student body assembled to complete the 2.5 mile walk (see photos below).  The groups also exceeded their fundraising goal by collecting $1080 toward the March of Dimes cause.

The clinic and school have partnered with March of Dimes throughout the past year, by participating on the Advocacy and Government Affairs committee, sending 6 staff to the Arizona Capitol for Lobby Day, and by hosting a free 3D/4D ultrasound event on World Prematurity Day.

About the College:  WCUI's Phoenix campus is a privately owned, post-secondary vocational institute, located at 4250 E. Camelback Road.  The college offers Associates of Occupational Science degrees in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Echosonography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.  They also offer a unique, advanced diploma in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound and Congenital Heart Disease to graduates of a Cardiovascular program.

About the Clinic:  UIMG is a low cost, superior diagnostic imaging clinic serving the greater Phoenix area, as well as the cities of Beverly Hills and Ontario in California.  The clinic works alongside leading radiologists, cardiologists, and referring physicians to provide quality patient care.  The clinic also offers 3D imaging for expectant mothers. Additionally, the Phoenix clinic recently began offering Ultherapy, the only non-invasive procedure the FDA cleared to lift skin on the neck, under the chin, on the eyebrow, and on the chest.
